Mark Blumberg has worked as a professional musician since 1969 and a music copyist since 1999. He has copied music for The Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve as well as several broadcast music production houses in Memphis, Nashville and Dallas. He is fluent in all varieties of music notation, including classical, new music, jazz, and rock/pop. He is an experienced arranger/composer and is adept in a wide range of musical styles and has written arrangements for artists as diverse as jazz trombonist Bill Watrous, pop/country group Restless Heart, R&B artist Jerry Butler, and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. He has written extensively for broadcast production and his work has been featured by the ABC, CBS and NBC television networks as well as numerous radio and television stations worldwide. A list of clients would include The William B. Tanner Co., Media General Broadcast Productions, Frank Baker and Associates and Peterbuck Productions in Memphis, Hank’s House, 615 Productions and Dan Williams Music in Nashville and TM/Century in Dallas as well as his own company Magnetic][Scores. He is an expert transcriber and orchestrator and has helped many musicians who are unfamiliar with music notation get their ideas on the page. He will also translate MIDI sequences to written music for live players or create audio demos of written scores.

All music prepared by Mark Blumberg Music is printed on an Epson inkjet printer. Our standard parts paper is 8.5”x11” 24# acid free natural off-white, but all standard and custom sizes are available.
